AICPM.NET 2020

We have already focused on this exposure in the previous issue of AIDA News. We return to illustrate the outcome, informing that on November 30th the voting on the web was closed and on December 12th there was, this is the novelty, the virtual award ceremony, carried out through the Zoom platform. All the collections, with the relative results, are visible through the following link:

Among the collections on display there were two of our partner Lino Lensi, who were awarded the Gold and Vermeil Grande medals:

• Special Air Services (1940-1943), points 88 (O)
• The resumption of airport services in Italy in the post-war period (1945-1955), points 83 (VG)

There are also other interesting collections, to be analyzed and studied, by other collectors, who are not our partners, but which deal with topics in which air mail is present in a significant way. In particular, reference is made to the following collections:

• “Airgraphs” – English microfilmed messages 1941-1945, by Pasquale Polo (O)
• Foreign correspondence in Itallian Kingdom franked with the “Imperiale” series (21.4.1929 – 22.9.1943), by Mario Bonacina (O)
• Ethiopia issue: Correspondence with foreign countries – May 1936 – March 1941, by Antonio Lampariello (OG)
• Postal services in Italy 1945-1957, by Aniello Veneri (O).
