In Germany too, philatelic life is flourished, despite the virus. A demonstration of this is the initiative of the Bund Deutscher Philatelisten (BDPh), which organized a very successful virtual event, NAPOSTA 2021, an event that took place throughout the month of September.
Its main purpose was to give exhibitors, not being able to participate in national exhibitions scheduled for 2020 due to the pandemic, an alternative possibility to qualify for the international IBRA 2021 in Essen (now postponed to May 2023). The initiative met with some success, with the participation of 64 collections and a good variety of medals awarded. Among the collections on display there are also four interesting air mail collections, which I invite everyone to view and browse. In particular, the interesting collection “Swiss air mail in the Second World War”, presented by Peter Greipel, is worth mentioning. All collections can be viewed through the following link:

The virtual exhibitions, which represent the way through which it was possible to continue the exhibition activity, have the great advantage of allowing a more effective use of the collections on display, which can be studied better than what can happen in presence. Furthermore, in this case, the event was accompanied by the numerous seminars organized by the BDPh.
