The federal seminars, which the Federation organizes periodically, are an important moment of presentation of the new exhibition trends and regulations, as well as of cultural and experience growth for exhibitors and jurors.
According to the regulation, attendance at some seminars is mandatory for the jurors of that specialty and strongly recommended for collectors who want to try their hand at it.
All this is even more important when there are new or in any case young specialties, without consolidated experience. This is the case of open philately and today philately.
As for airphilathely, the last federal seminar was held in 2009 and a new edition was about to be organized, but then the pandemic upset all plans. It is hoped that, returning to normalcy, it will finally be possible to organize it, taking advantage of the new communication technologies as well.
Meanwhile, in view of the next exhibition appointments from September (virtual or real), the Federation has prepared this first calendar of seminars for 2021:
- June 5 at 3.00 pm– Open philately (Marco Occhipinti and Giancarlo Morolli) – mandatory participation for jurors interested in entering the future register of open philately
- June 6 at 4.00 pm– Thematic philately (Paolo Guglielminetti and Giancarlo Morolli) – recommended participation by the jurors of thematic philately
- June 20 at 4.00 pm – Today Philately (Bruno Crevato-Selvaggi, Claudio Manzati, Aniello Veneri) – mandatory participation for the jurors.
Practical information:
Anyone wishing to participate must write to lavagnino.luca@gmail.com and will receive the link for the Zoom meeting. But due to the mandatory participation of the jurors, only the live presence is valid!
Attention: all seminars will be recorded and made available to all on the federal YouTube channel, through the following link:
