On 2 September, Poste Italiane informed us that “MILANOFIL 2021”, one of the key events of Philately and other sectors of collecting, has always been an opportunity for collectors and dealers to meet, scheduled for 8 and 9 October next postponed to 2022. Poste Italiane will communicate the new date and venue of the event as soon as possible.
On the same day, the FSFI Manifestations and Juries Delegate, Luca Lavagnino, announced that, following the decision of Poste Italiane, the federal philatelic exhibition, which should have taken place at the same time as Milanofil, is definitively transformed into virtual mode, according to the rules foreseen in the specific appendix to the Exhibition and Jury Regulations to which reference should be made (http://www.fsfi.it/federazione/RegolazioneEsposizioniGiurie2021.pdf)
He also recalled the possibility for those who do not want to exhibit in virtual mode to be able to withdraw without penalty, but above all that, for the purposes of participating in international exhibitions, the FIP considers valid the results achieved by the collections participating in official virtual national exhibitions organized between 2020. and 2022.
