Dear Members,
as you will have seen from the various messages sent and updates published on our website, the AVIOCOM 100 initiative is proceeding at full speed. It is now landing in Vasto for the national exhibition, where we will also have the opportunity to meet during our 52nd Aerophilately Day.

I am also very pleased to highlight the updates we have made to the website’s homepage to make it more attractive and user-friendly, featuring news that is easier to read; for this, I thank our tireless Secretary.
In this issue, you will find fascinating articles, such as a unique analysis of the historical background leading to the creation of Air Route No. 4, operated by S.A. Aero Espresso Italiano, as well as a feature on the centenary of the airship Norge’s expedition to the North Pole under the command of the great Umberto Nobile. There is also a study dedicated to the Zeppelin dispatches prepared by the famous and imaginative stamp dealer Sam Bayer. It is truly an issue packed with interesting content, requiring us to increase the page count.
But that is not all; as part of the Italian civil aviation centenary celebrations, we are proud to note that our association has become a patron of other national initiatives. The first took place in Pavia on June 13th, and a subsequent one was held in Turin on June 19th—events we have already reported to you via specific messages to members.
