Next Saturday March, 11 2023 the “XXI Postal History Colloquium” will take place in Prato, organized as always by the “Aldo Cecchi” Institute of Postal History. As usual, hosted by the State Archives in Prato, located in via Ser Lapo Mazzei 41.
The leitmotif of the 2023 Colloquium is “Post offices, fairs, exhibitions”; which aims to deepen and share knowledge among university professors, researchers, experts in the subject, collectors. The speakers will alternate for brief interventions of fifteen minutes each starting at 9 am and ending around 1.30 pm. Participation is free (the use of the mask is welcome).
It will also be an occasion for the Institute to publicly thank some of the most recent donors.
As can be seen from the program, two of our members will also be present:
- Claudio Incerti: The main aeronautical exhibitions in Italy in the 1930s – The related philatelic-postal activities
- Flavio Riccitelli: The 1933 Chicago Expo – Related philatelic-postal activities
