Consistently with the idea of ??leaving one’s own sphere to connect with others, in order to grasp affinities and points of contact, which we would like to highlight the important initiative Sfizi Di Posta, which on Thursday 23 March 2023, around 16.30, will be present on TV at Geo, the very popular broadcast broadcast live on Rai 3. It will be presented by Marco Occhipinti, not new to TV appearances, who is also its curator.
With this will be fifteen times that, starting from 2011, Marco Occhipinti appears live on RAI 3 TV in the well-known and highly appreciated program GEO, which deals with the great themes of nature and the environment with a look at current events, traditions and to history. Therefore, a congenial context for Occhipinti, to talk about and disseminate philately to the general public, in a simple and direct way, possibly nice, and without any technicalities.
This time we will talk about Sfizi.Di.Posta, the well-known blog conceived and edited by Occhipinti himself; some curiosities about him will be shown, better known as “whims”, which will range from history to nature, from famous people to animals, using the postal document as an excuse to tell the stories themselves.
The aforementioned initiative, in the form of a documentary exhibition, is also visible from 3 to 31 March, at the Central European Postal and Telegraphic Museum of Poste Italiane in Trieste (Poste centrale, via Vittorio Veneto). The exhibition, called “Sfizi.Di.Posta. History through the post, post through history”, created by Marco Occhipinti, aims to tell the story behind letters, telegrams, cancellations, postcards, stamps and other postal documents.
