EuroPhilEx Birmingham 2025 will be the United Kingdom’s mid-decade international stamp exhibition. For the first time ever, Britain has decided to move its international exhibition out of London. Birmingham is the country’s second city, which is located in the centre of England and surrounded by several other large cities.
The exhibition, sponsored by FEPA and recognized by FIP, will be held from 7 to 11 May 2025, at the National Exhibiton Center in Birmingham. At the moment, it is the only international exhibition scheduled in Europe in 2025. It is therefore probable that the exhibition space (2,050 frames) will not allow for hosting all the participations for which an application for registration will be submitted: the suggestion is to proceed with as soon as possible upon registration, the deadline for which is set for August 1st.
All classes are present, including the Aerophilately class (Class 4). Participations with restricted themes (1-2-3 frames) and modern philately are classified in the relevant philatelic classes. Entries that have achieved a Grand Prix in Champion Class in shows sponsored by FIP, FEPA, FIAP or FIAF will not be able to participate in any competitive class.
To register you must proceed as follows:
- Enter the site https://europhilex2025.co.uk/info/entry-forms/.
- Select “Literature entry” for registrations in the philatelic literature class, or “Exhibition entry” for all other classes.
- Fill out the form carefully.
- When the form is completed, click “Submit”
- The exhibitor will receive notification that the registration has been sent, a copy of which will also be sent to the national commissioner.
- The introductory page and, if possible, the synopsis should preferably be sent together with the registration form, but can be added or changed until 1 February 2025. To send them, reply to the confirmation e-mail attaching these documents, being careful that the registration application identification code is identified in the object. The introductory page and possibly the synopsis will also be sent to the national commissioner.
Confirmation of acceptance will be sent to the national commissioners by 1 October 2024. The Italian commissioner is Luca Lavagnino (lavagnino.luca@gmail.com).
The website https://europhilex2025.co.uk/ is periodically updated: I invite you to visit it. In particular, for those who plan to participate in person, we would like to point out that rooms are available for visitors at a discounted price at the Arden Hotel, where commissioners and jurors will be staying: https://europhilex2025.co.uk/official- hotel/.
