It’s finally happening! The major philatelic event in Boston is approaching, and it’s time to register.
Boston 2026 is the world philatelic exhibition that will be held in Boston, one of the most beautiful cities in the United States, from May 23 to 30, 2026. All competition classes will be included except maximaphily, and will feature categories such as postcards, open philately, single frame, and a special U.S. class, “First Day Covers.” There will also be a dedicated hall for polar mail.
The participation fee is $125 per frame, $195 for a single frame, and $65 for literature. The Italian commissioner is Bruno Crevato-Selvaggi, president of the Federation of Italian Philatelic Societies.
The registration process is different from usual: those wishing to participate should not send the registration form to the commissioner but must fill it out directly on the exhibition’s official website:
On the homepage, there is a blue button labeled “Exhibit Registration” that will open a form to be completed. Submitting the application does not automatically guarantee acceptance, as the list of entries will be sent to the commissioner, who will need to confirm the qualifications. Once the application is submitted, it is advisable to notify the commissioner by email.
Multiple applications are allowed (there are no space limitations). The application deadline is September 30, 2025, and acceptance notifications will be sent out by November 2025 leaving plenty of time to plan a great trip if desired.
