The Federation among Italian philatelic societies promotes a seminar for judges and exhibitors that will take place in Lavagna (GE) throughout the day on Saturday, March 23, and the morning of Sunday, March 24, in collaboration with the Lavagna Philatelic Circle and under the patronage of the Municipality of Lavagna. The event will be held at the G.B. Campodonico Auditorium on Via Cavour; the designated hotel (one hundred meters from the train station) and restaurants are within walking distance from the auditorium.
The interdisciplinary meeting, open to all exhibit classes, aims to provide insights and opportunities for discussion in light of the application of the guidelines officially enforced in August 2022 for many FIP classes, to which some online seminars were dedicated between 2021 and 2023 (http://www.fsfi.it/seminari/indice.htm).
The main theme of the seminar will be the “conducting” and the interventions will deliberately have a practical approach to involve all participants. Indeed, after the aforementioned seminars, dedicated to various classes, focused on the concepts outlined in the SREV and/or Guidelines, it is necessary to translate these into examples that can be useful to both judges and exhibitors.
