Our association, together with the Association of Atlantic Fliers (ATA), met on May 12, 2025, with the Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, General of the Air Force Luca Goretti. The meeting took place in General Goretti’s office at the Air Force Headquarters in Rome. In attendance were Luigi Farina, President of A.I.D.A., and Giorgio Moretti, a member of our association, who participated on behalf of both AIDA and ATA. Also present at the meeting were, among others, Mrs. Paola Balbo, President of ATA, and Mrs. Barbara Fiori and Mrs. Isabella Falessi, Vice Presidents of ATA, as well as Brigadier Generals Luigi Ambrosino and Silvio Monti.
During the cordial meeting, General Goretti, who expressed his appreciation for the work carried out by the respective associations, was presented with four American “Event Covers” provided by Giorgio Moretti and three publications from the “I Quaderni di AIDA” series, which are produced annually by our association. The fourth publication will be released by the end of the year, and we will make sure to send him a copy.
