We have already reported this event in the news of 25 October 2021, within the calendar of international competitions. The exhibition, which will have the patronage of the FIP and the AIJP, will take place at the International Convention Center, Cape Town, from 8 to 12 November 2022.
We return to this event again to report, as communicated to us on 17 July 2022 by the Italian Commissioner, Bruno Crevato-Selvaggi, that all the applications to participate have been accepted. The number of collections of Italian participants is quite large, 11 and covering a wide spectrum of exhibition classes: Champions (1), Aerofilatelia (2), Thematic Philately (1), 1 Framework (1), Illustrated Postcards (1 ), Philatelic Literature (4) and Modern Philately (1).
The International Association of Philatelic Journalists (AIJP) is particularly involved in the event, after its president Wolgang Maassen invited its members to participate with their literature works in future FIP exhibitions. Furthermore, this is the first of its kind on the African continent.
