We have already reported this important event in some news of 2020 and again in the news of 25 October 2021, within the calendar of international competitions. It was initially scheduled for 6-9 May 2021 and then was canceled and postponed to next year and will take place from 25 to 28 May 2023.
We return to this event again to transmit the more detailed news reached us by the Italian Commissioner, Claudio Manzati, who reminds us that after the many international events that took place in 2022 (London, Budapest, Lugano, Capex, Indonesia, Cape Town, to mention the most important), this is currently the only exhibition scheduled for 2023 and therefore it is an opportunity not to be missed.
It is therefore good to remind all those who are interested in participating with their collections (max 2 collections) that the deadline for submitting applications is October 1st 2022. The applications, for which the forms are attached below of accession, must be sent to the Commissioner, at the address: c.manzati@virgilio.it.
IBRA 2023 will take place in Essen, in the Ruhr region, of which it is the second largest center after Dortmund. After Cologne, Düsseldorf and Dortmund, Essen is the fourth largest city in the Land, and the ninth in the whole of Germany. The event will include all the exhibition classes, including the literature class, to which a large reading area will be dedicated, with various German philatelic libraries.
