FIFTH EDITION OF FLY FUTURE – 2026

There are just 15 days to go until “Fly Future 2026”, the fifth edition of the orientation and information event for young people seeking job and career opportunities in the aviation and space sector. The event, which will be held on February 12 and 13, 2026, will be held in the same location as last year: the Teaching Building of the Engineering Macroarea at the University of Rome Tor Vergata

This year, we are unable to participate in person, but we want to continue sharing all the information about this important initiative, which is about to be inaugurated, with our members through our website.

As usual, “Fly Future 2026” will again host several conferences and workshops, with the participation of civilian and military pilots, flight school and aeroclub managers, executives from organizations, airlines, and aerospace companies, professionals, and experts. This edition will feature a meeting with astronaut Umberto Guidoni, who will participate in the conference on the topic of “Working in Space: The Future of Space Activities, from New Orbiting Stations to Missions to the Moon”.

A large exhibition area with booths and aerospace exhibits is also planned. It will be an unmissable event for meeting top professionals in the aviation and space sectors, understanding the various training programs, and exploring future career opportunities.

This year’s program, in particular, will include the Exhibition celebrating Alitalia’s 80th anniversary and the Exhibition celebrating the 65th anniversary of the PAN. For details, please see the attached program.

Furthermore, a new commemorative souvenir sheet will be issued commemorating two important events in Italian aerospace history: the 80th anniversary of the founding of the LAI and ALI airlines in 1946, and the 30th anniversary of the STS-75 mission of the Columbia shuttle, which in 1996 carried Maurizio Cheli and Umberto Guidoni into orbit on the second flight of the TSS-1R tethered satellite.
