The specialized exhibition HUNFILEX 2022 included eight classes: Postal History, Traditional, Revenue, Thematic, Open, 1 Frame, World Championship of Stamps and Literature. So many classes, but not Aerophilatelia, although the logo recalled the famous Legiposta of 1964. There were 45 participating nations, 1320 frames in competition, 272 exhibitors and more than 50 literature exhibits.
The National Grand Prix was won by the extraordinary classic Hungarian collection of the famous Swiss collector Adriano Bergamini. The International Grand Prix went to Alfred Schmidt for his exhibit on Prussia. Finally, the World Stamp Championship was won by Damian Läge with his fantastic thematic collection “Australian Birdlife”.

But the reason why we are talking about Hunfilex 2022, even though there is no aerophilathelia, is because there have been some important collateral events, one of which is of interest to us. In fact, in addition to the seminar on Open Philately organized by FEPA, an unscheduled seminar dedicated to aerophilately took place on Sunday 3 April. Leading it, on behalf of the President of the FIP Commissions of Aerofilatelia, Norma Banfield, was the Hungarian juror György Lóvei.
