Next Saturday March, 11 2023 the “XXI Postal History Colloquium” will take place in Prato, organized as always by the “Aldo Cecchi” Institute of Postal History. As usual, hosted by the State Archives in Prato, located in via Ser Lapo Mazzei 41.
In the context of the seminars organized by the Federation, this is the turn of Traditional Philately. This is the seminar that completes the cycle of meetings of this type, organized for the various exhibition classes, which we can consider essential training opportunities for exhibitors and jurors.
In fact, as we know, the seminars, which the Federation organizes periodically, are an important moment for presenting new exhibition trends and regulations, as well as cultural growth and experience for exhibitors and jurors. For these reasons, it is most appropriate that especially the jurors participate in the seminars that the FSFI promotes.
We remind you that the aerophilately seminar was already held on May 28, 2022 and, as for the other seminars, is available on the federal YouTube channel:http://www.fsfi.it/seminari/indice.htm
The Traditional Philately seminar will be held on Saturday 25 March from around 3 to 5 pm, on the Zoom platform. Speakers will include Charles Verge, Canadian FIP juror, and Aniello Veneri, federal delegate for traditional philately.
Given the type of topics that will be covered, participation in this seminar is mandatory for jurors enrolled in the FSFI register for traditional philately, while it is strongly recommended for jurors of other classes. In particular, it is recommended for jurors (or juror students) of the aerophilately class, taking into account the importance that traditional philately has assumed with the new regulations, also for this exhibition class.
The video recording of the seminar will later be made available to anyone on the federal YouTube channel, where recordings of all previous meetings are available.
