AVIOCOM 100 – TUIN 2026

To commemorate the centenary of Italian civil aviation (1926–2026), our association, in collaboration with other philatelic and non-philatelic associations, has launched a commemorative project called AVIOCOM 100. The project will include three traveling events held in Turin, Vasto, and Rome, at different times of the year.

The project’s goal is to commemorate 100 years of Italian Civil Aviation through a series of conferences on historical and postal history aspects dedicated to the theme and the organization of philatelic exhibitions that will retrace the origins of Italian Civil Aviation, from 1926 to 1934. The underlying purpose of the project is to promote the culture of collecting (philately and postal history) and aviation in general.

In this regard, the attached project factsheet summarizes the contents of all the planned and upcoming initiatives. The first event is in Turin, whose dates are already known: April 28-30, 2026. The attached flyer also includes the program of activities, details of the conferences, and the opening hours of the exhibition. These hours are those of the event location, the “A. Geisser” Civic Library, Corso Casale, 5, Turin.

A special postcard will be issued by the Unione Filatelica Subalpina, which has also requested a postmark, usable at the post office, which will be posted on the exhibition premises. Members are invited to attend in large numbers.
